Keion’s journey

After struggling to find his way early in his college career, recent alumnus Keion Harris (AB ’23) said connecting with U‑M’s Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives (OAMI) helped give him the confidence and community he was seeking on campus. During his time as an undergraduate at Michigan, Keion, a community college transfer student, made the most of OAMI programs like M-Connect, SuccessConnects, and MCliC, to get the most out of his U‑M experience. He’s returning in the fall to start working toward his Ph.D. with the School of Social Work. Watch the video below to learn more about Keion’s story.
